Live Streamed Sessions for Hybrid Conference

AASP leadership offered hybrid sessions for individuals who prefer to participate virtually and watch sessions through live streaming. Conference registration fees were the same for in-person and virtual attendance.  Livestreaming session options are indicated below in the schedule at-a-glance.

Explanation about conference rates: For attendees attending in-person, part of your registration costs covered breakfast, lunch and snacks during the day and at the reception.  For those attending virtually, registration covered the A/V equipment, camera operators, and online platform licenses (i.e., ZOOM, Whova). The AASP Executive Board is striving to meet the unique needs of members and non-members as we navigate these unusual times. We welcome feedback as we adapt our professional development offerings.  Our goal is to provide high-quality, relevant trainings along with opportunities to safely network with friends and colleagues. The Whova platform will provide ways to engage with others in fun and informative ways whether attending at the conference site or online.

**Please note that you must be a current member of AASP at the time you register for the conference to obtain the member rate. It is recommended that you renew membership a week to ten days prior to registering for the conference.

Online registration will be available in early September and must be completed online. Please check your email and/or the AASP website for updates and the conference registration link. At registration, select your morning and afternoon sessions for the day(s) you will be attending. This assists the conference planning committee with room assignments and set up to comply with CDC guidelines. Whether you pay by credit card or school district purchase order (PO), you must register online. Be aware of the Early Bird Registration and Regular Registration timelines. With the pandemic, it is important to register early as we monitor CDC guidelines to adhere to conference facility capacity requirements. On-site registration may not be possible this year. Please check with the AASP website the day before the conference for on-site availability. Registration confirmation is provided by e-mail. While attendees may change how they attend up to the day before the start of the conference (in person or virtually), AASP is adhering to a no refund policy. Please contact AASP Headquarters if you need to make a registration type change.

Whova Conference Schedule and Materials

This year, the AASP Conference schedule, handouts, and materials will be accessed digitally! Before the conference, you will be sent directions for downloading an app to your laptop and/or cell phone. You will be able to download and print a pdf of the program schedule, as well as presentation materials; or you can simply refer to the digital schedule on your device for room assignments, times, ppt slides, speaker bios and other handouts. You can also view our sponsors’ websites and special offers on the app and/or visit vendor tables during the conference. The app should also speed up check-in and conference evaluations. Look for more details and helpful hints in e-blasts, the Intervention, and at the conference!

Professional Development

A total of 13.25 continuing education hours may be earned by attending the entire two-day conference. Most sessions will be awarded NASP-approved CPD credits as noted in the conference schedule (NASP Approved Provider #1013). Learning objectives for the CPD-approved sessions can be found on the AASP website  NCSPs must obtain 10 of the 75 CPDs required for renewal from NASP or APA-approved providers during each three-year renewal period. AASP maintains responsibility for this program. To earn CPD credits, attendees must be present for the entire workshop session. Contact Margaret Boatright, PhD, AASP CPD Co-Chair at or Marianne Fillhouer, EdS, AASP CPD Co-Chair at with an questions regarding CPDs.

The annual silent auction will be held during lunch on Thursday, November 4th and a raffle will offer items during lunch on Friday, November 5th. Proceeds support the AASP mini-grant program and the NASP Children’s Fund. Credit cards will be accepted. Items have been donated by our generous sponsors, AASP members, and local businesses and organizations.
