      Membership Benefits:

      Networking & Collegiality

·C.S. Lewis said, “Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another, 'What! You too? I thought I was the only one”.

School psychology is a field quite different from others. We have a very specific experience in the school system. We are not administrators and we are not teachers. We are an island. To be able to meet and connect with our peers that have a unique understanding of our work experiences is invaluable in keeping sane and not burning out.

      Professional Development

When you become a member of the Arizona Association of School Psychologists, you have access to professional development opportunities such as:

      ·         Significantly discounted rates for the AASP Conference.

      ·         Regional trainings for little to no cost

      ·         Listings of other ASU/NASP/ADE trainings

      ·         NASP approved CEU's which are important for maintaining your Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NSCP) credential

      Advocacy

Benefits of being a member aren't just what our organization can do for you, it's also about what we, all together, can do with our collective voices. School Psychology is at an important juncture. Laws dictate so much of what we do and how we can help children. The only way to change the system is to take the responsibility upon ourselves to advocate for change.

      • AASP is bringing advocacy to the forefront of our focus as an organization. We are looking to establish the important connections needed to further the interests of school psychologists and to produce better outcomes for kids.
