Chairperson: Wanda Piver

The Communications Committee serves as the voice for AASP and includes the sub-committees of the Intervention Newsletter, photography, the AASP website, listserv communications, spokesperson for the organization, School Psychology Awareness Week, and public relations. Brian Potter will be our website manager this year. The Communications Committee has set a goal of representing the association through keeping the membership informed about organizational activities. Our association secretary, Dr. Matthew Moix, will expand the scope of the recording secretary to include more reporting, corresponding and liaison to membership functions. We also hope to improve the capacity of AASP for communication both to and from members through studying website and listserv capabilities. The Communications Committee will also facilitate other AASP goals, such as increasing member participation and encouraging membership. We currently need someone interested in working on promotional activities and public relations.
