I have been the leader of the Scottsdale School District Crisis Team for over 10 years, and a member of the NASP Crisis Prevention and Intervention Workgroup that recently developed a national curriculum for training school mental health providers. 

I am a Past President of the Arizona Association of School Psychologists (AASP), a former Central Regional Director, and currently serve on the AASP Executive Board. I am also a member of the Arizona Psychological Association and a member of the American Psychological Association.

Presently I am a member of the Arizona State Response to Intervention Taskforce, and leader of the Scottsdale RTI Pilot Program. I recently presented preliminary response to intervention data to the SUSD School Board and obtained Board approval to fund an expansion of the RTI pilot program in additional grade levels and additional elementary schools.

I also teach graduate classes for Northern Arizona University and have instituted a doctoral internship program in school psychology in SUSD in collaboration with the Arizona Psychological Association and APPIC Training Program.
